You will be working 39 weeks of the year managing your breakfast and after school clubs during Term Time and a minimum of 5 weeks managing your holiday club during School Holidays, including all Half Term Holidays and at least one week during the Summer Holidays.We can offer you a generous 8 weeks’ annual leave entitlement, a company laptop and mobile phone, continuous professional development, business mileage reimbursement and a genuine opportunity for a fulfilling career working with children in a supportive, forward thinking company.The RoleAs a Senior Breakfast and After School Club Manager, you will take full ownership of and responsibility for the operational delivery and performance of a KOOSA Kids Wraparound Childcare Hub – a dedicated Breakfast, After School and Holiday club. Fully supported by KOOSA Kids wider Senior Operations Team, you will ensure KOOSA Kids are delivering high quality, professional and fun childcare at all times.Your strong experience as a Teacher, Playwork Lead or Nursery Manager means you thrive on leading and inspiring your teams and you will use your expert Child Management and Operational Management skills to effectively and efficiently run your term time and holiday clubs, ensuring outstanding practice is delivered at all times.Underpinning everything you do, will be the desire to deliver outstanding levels of childcare, in-line with KOOSA Kids and Ofsted standards, ensuring the children in our care are provided with a safe and secure environment where they can explore, grow and have FUN!ResponsibilitiesOverall responsibility for the day to day management of your allocated breakfast, after school & holiday club.Create a nurturing, welcoming and safe play environment for the children in your care.Day-to-day management of your teams, providing guidance and clear direction to create a supportive working environment where colleagues feel valued and motivated to become Outstanding in their role.Implement and execute KOOSA Kids operational policies and procedures, including auditing your club, observing club and team performance, planning your activities and resourcing your club.Interview term time and casual holiday club candidates, hold group interviews and attend recruitment fairs or events.Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids internal policies and procedures, including safeguarding and stay up to date with the latest training as and when required.Practically manage the day-to-day requirements of your club, including equipment inventories, purchasing snack and collecting or returning resources from Head Office when required.Skills & ExperienceAt least 2-3 years management experience in a Teaching, Childcare, Early Years or Playwork settingMinimum Level 3 NVQ / Diploma in Childcare or Playwork (or equivalent) or a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)Full driving license with access to your own vehicle essentialStrong organisational and leadership skillsBe professional, positive and energetic; bringing fun and creativeness to the teamBe passionate about working with children aged between 4 - 13 yearsBe a people person with great communication skillsHave the ability to motivate others to deliver to the highest standardHave a fun, energetic personality and be kindCompany benefitsCompany laptop & mobile phoneBusiness mileage reimbursementProfessional developmentCareer progression & support gaining recognisable qualificationsCompany pension schemeDiscounted childcareSocial activitiesPlease see the application instructions for contact details to learn more about this role!
