We are looking for talented and ambitious Planners and Senior Planners to join our Scotland team to work on a wide range of projects in the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow and throughout Scotland.

We are looking for qualified planning professionals to work on projects across various sectors including residential, education, leisure, energy and commercial.
From our base in Edinburgh, we serve the whole of the Scotland market through extensive and valued relationships.
As part of our team, you will:
* Review the development potential of sites and work with colleagues to develop planning strategies, providing high quality advice in line with our clients’ requirements
* Compile, submit, and oversee applications for planning permission, listed building consent and conservation area consent
* Contribute to maintaining our team’s deep knowledge and understanding of planning context in our markets
* Grow your personal presence in our markets and deepen relationships with co-consultants and clients

About you
We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated professionals who will bring energy, ideas and positivity. You will have experience in providing succinct and commercial advice. You will have strong communication skills and be accustomed to engaging with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Having worked in the public sector and/or private sector within planning and development, you will be experienced in leading on a range of smaller scale projects and proactively supporting delivery on major projects.
For the right candidates, we are open-minded about the level of the role, which will be subject to skills and experience. You will be a member of the RTPI and have a planning related Bachelors/Masters degree.
