Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Food & Nutrition to students aged 11-16.
2. Monitor and support the progress and development of all pupils, ensuring high standards of attainment.
3. Actively contribute to and support the school's policies and procedures.
4. Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment to promote student confidence and achievement.
5. Take on broader responsibilities as a teacher, including form tutor duties, contributing to students' personal development.
Requirements:
1. A relevant degree and qualifications required for QTS (trainees on track to achieve QTS are encouraged to apply).
2. Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
3. Experience teaching Food & Nutrition within secondary education, across Key Stages 3 and 4.
4. Knowledge of statutory guidelines, including Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, SEND, and Child Protection.
5. Enthusiasm for promoting a love of learning and personal growth in students.
