Currently we have over 1000 learners on CPD programmes with formal contracts with 9 out of the 11 English ambulance services, as well as an open access paramedic course at our Lancaster campus. We have had over 1,000 students on our Bridging Programme and we are looking to innovate in further areas. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated HCPC Paramedic to support our Bridging Programme. The Bridging Programme takes band 3 and 4 staff members through a nationally recognised qualification giving them the opportunity to progress into the Paramedic Apprenticeship Programme. The role requires the online assessment of student work and the delivery of online tutorials supporting students through the programme. You will demonstrate enthusiasm for practice-based education and be willing to utilise a range of e-learning technologies and other strategies in order to deliver the provision of high-quality learning opportunities and the best possible student experience. Over the next year, the Innovation Team will also be looking at increasing the learning portfolio within our Cumbria Skills Academy providing an exciting opportunity for applicants to deliver further programmes of study.
