The Bus Centre of Excellence team
The Bus Centre of Excellence (BCoE) is funded by the Department for Transport (DfT) and run and managed by CIHT, reporting to the Director of Policy and Technical Affairs. BCoE has secured funding until the end of March 2026 with possibility for an extension. The team consists of the Head of BCoE, the digital engagement officer and the bus policy and engagement officer (3x Full-Time Equivalent).
Role Overview
The Bus Policy and Engagement Officer will play a crucial role in shaping the development of bus services by fostering knowledge sharing, supporting policy implementation and connecting stakeholders.
