Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Blackburn About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join primary schools in Blackburn. This full-time role involves supporting children aged 5-11, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), covering classes, and leading small-group interventions. Key Responsibilities: Support teachers in delivering lessons and engaging students. Cover classes during teacher PPA time. Lead intervention sessions for small groups. Work with SEN students to support their progress. Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. Requirements: Level 4 or HLTA qualification. Experience working with children aged 5-11, especially those with SEN. Confident in classroom management and leading interventions. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
