What Youll Be Doing
As the first point of contact for technical issues, youll play a vital role in ensuring clients IT systems run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing first-line IT support remotely via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
* Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
* Logging, prioritizing, and managing service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolutions.
* Escalating complex issues to the second- or third-line teams when needed.
* Assisting with user onboarding and account setup.
* Maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to the teams knowledge base.
What Theyre Looking For
Were searching for candidates with:
* Experience in a similar service desk or IT support role.
* Strong problem-solving skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
* Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Office 365, and Active Directory.
* A solid understanding of basic networking (e.g., DNS, DHCP, VPN).
* Exceptional communication skills and a customer-first approach.
* The ability to manage workloads independently and prioritize effectively.
Desirable Extras
While not essential, the following will set you apart:
* Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft equivalents.
