Job summary The Thoracic Clinic nurses work at Guys Hospital to provide excellent care to our patients requiring a variety of thoracic surgery interventions. The successful candidate will be hard-working and keen to learn about Thoracic Surgery, their diagnosis and treatment. Staff will provide exceptional care to patients attending for pre-assessment appointments, or for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. You will be flexible, and keen to join a service that is constantly expanding and developing. This is a great opportunity to learn about Thoracic surgery and develop specialist Thoracic knowledge, including pre-assessment skills and chest drain management. You will be well supported by the CNS/Thoracic Nurse Practitioner team and administrative staff to fulfil this role that may be the launch of your specialist thoracic career.
