Trust Medicine Rotational Doctor
At ESHT we provide our service at two District General Hospitals in Eastbourne and Hastings, and combine community and hospital services together.
We have an exciting opportunity for doctors to work at this Trust, based at Eastbourne DGH;
• Geriatrics/ Acute Medicine
• Fixed term contract from August 2024-August 2025.
Eligible applications are for doctors that have completed Foundation Training wishing to gain a broader experience and to help decide your next career pathway. This may also appeal to locally employed doctors looking to gain NHS experience and not worked in the UK before.
The posts are availablefor 1 year starting August 2024. There is scope to extend this beyond the initial fixed term.
It will provide an opportunity for a trainee who is interested in any sub-specialty and wishing to practice in a supportive environment, whilst also developing a recognised clinical teaching portfolio. You will be afforded all of the educational benefits of your colleagues on a training rotation and you will have the opportunity of support and funding with courses with study leave of 10 days and £1,000 p.a. There may be the chance to design your own post/rotation and we will work flexibly with you to develop your area of interest.
