Role: Field Service Engineer / Mobile HGV Technician
Location: Watford (WD3, WD4, WD5, WD6, WD7, WD17, WD18, WD19, WD23, WD34, WD25)
Hours: 45 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Join our team as a Field Service Engineer! Your role will involve repairing, maintaining, and servicing customer vehicles to the highest standards, both on-site and in our workshops. From diagnosing faults to preparing vehicles for MOT inspections, your expertise will ensure top-notch service delivery.
You'll manage jobs efficiently, using PDA software for real-time logging and ensuring punctuality to commitments. With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, you'll comply with company procedures and ISO9001 standards, always striving to exceed expectations.
Safety is paramount, and you'll be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures, and using appropriate protective equipment at all times.
Qualifications that set you apart include:
* Working knowledge of vehicle technology systems
* Maintenance and repair experience of RCVs or similar vehicles
* Familiarity with Fleet Management or Workshop IT systems
* Proven diagnostic and fault finding skills
* Relevant educational qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance (or time served)
