CNC Recruitment are seeking for experienced CNC Turning Programmers & Operators to join our dynamic and growing client team in Chard area. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Fanuc-based controls and the ability to program and operate CNC lathes independently. Salary: Up to £34.000 p.a., based on experience and skills
Working Week: 4-Day Week, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Overtime available)
Key Responsibilities:
* Program, set, and operate Fanuc-based CNC turning machines independently.
* Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
* Work to close tolerances and inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
* Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations within the workshop.
Requirements
* Minimum of 12 months of experience as a CNC Turning Machinist and Programmer using Fanuc-based controls.
* Strong ability to program and operate CNC lathes unsupervised.
* Excellent knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings.
* Experience in working to tight tolerances and conducting quality inspections.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines.
* A strong work ethic and positive attitude to contribute to a dynamic team environment.
