Job summary As a Mind and Body Practitioner you will provide community based support, information, training, education and guidance to young individuals in relation to self-harm and risk taking behaviour. You will be committed to improving access to appropriate services for young service users with mental health issues, specifically self-harm and risk taking behaviours. Main duties of the job As our Mind and Body Practitioner you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working and support the day to day operation of services through the delivery of appropriate evidence based treatment interventions. You will manage an active caseload providing structured psychosocial interventions and harm minimisation strategies to young persons, and assist in the delivery of an integrated service through the provision of assessment, recovery planning, appropriate referral, support and interventions. You will develop and disseminate emotional and mental wellbeing information, advice and health and social wellbeing in both group and one to one settings and screen for emotional wellbeing.
