About the Role - Building Officer Responsible for the overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of a specific building. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the office safety, functionality, and efficiency, while providing excellent customer service to our staff and partnership agencies. What is the day-to-day of the role Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the office and operational function of the building, ensuring the building runs smoothly, including contractual interface. Oversee the interface of contracted services in a building, ensuring all the reactive and scheduled works are completed in timely manner. Serve as a primary point of contact for staff, stakeholders and partnership agencies. Develop and implement relevant strategies and solutions within the overall delivery framework along with actions to mitigate against risks. Responsible to completing risk assessments and audits. Manage all aspects of fire safety within the premises. Ensure first aid kits are available. Required Skills and Qualification Level 3 qualification in a building related field or equivalent and/or suitable building industry qualification or experience. Experience in building management. Experience in team supervision. Understanding of health and safety requirements. Benefits No weekend working. 37 hours per week.
