The successful candidate will join a team of CBT/ EMDR Therapists and Assistant Psychologists to work exclusively with patients presenting with sexual abuse complex trauma. You will be responsible for assessing patient suitability and delivering evidenced based, trauma focused interventions. Applications are invited from BABCP accredited CBT Therapists who have been qualified for a minimum of 2 years and can demonstrate significant clinical experience of working with people experiencing trauma. Training in EMDR and/or experience of working in secondary care mental health services are an advantage, as is experience of or training in providing clinical supervision. The service works core 9-5 hours but offers therapy opportunities for patients between the hours of 8am-8pm Monday to Friday, and in the future, on Saturday mornings. The successful candidates will ideally be prepared to work flexibly to meet service needs within these hours.
