Responsibilities Lead the development and delivery of engineering projects, from initial concept and design through to implementation and completion, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards. Manage all aspects of project delivery, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and project management, to integrate technical solutions into broader capability integration projects. Implement and monitor project management methodologies, including risk management, scheduling, and quality control, to optimise project efficiency and performance. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols, particularly in regulated sectors such as nuclear, defence, and energy. Work closely with clients to understand their project needs and specifications, developing solutions that align with their strategic goals and technical requirements. Continuously improve engineering processes and methodologies, applying industry best practices and relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) to enhance operational effectiveness. Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring that team members have the resources and support needed to succeed. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project engineering, with a strong track record of managing and delivering complex projects within regulated industries. Proven experience in project management, demonstrating the ability to deliver engineering solutions from concept through to completion. Strong understanding of ISO standards related to engineering, safety, and quality management, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Excellent problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach to overcoming technical challenges. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of managing multi-disciplinary teams and engaging effectively with clients and stakeholders. Knowledge of compliance and safety regulations specific to nuclear, defence, and energy sectors is a strong advantage. The ability to obtain SC (Security Clearance) is a mandatory requirement for this role; this position is full-time and on-site.
