Job Duties:
* Provide tutoring and support to secondary level students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to facilitate student progress
* Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning
Required Qualifications:
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Prior experience working as a SEN tutor or teacher
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN requirements and best practises
* Ability to create and implement tailored learning plans
* Strong classroom management skills
* Knowledge of relevant educational technology
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Education
* Additional training in specific SEN areas
Working Conditions:
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, supporting students with SEN in a secondary school setting. The tutor will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide individualised support and facilitate student progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
