As the warehouse Assistants, you will deliver a high quality and cost-effective level of service to both internal and external customers. Ensuring a proactive, accurate, and professional approach to inbound, receipt, fulfillment, storage, dispatch, delivery, and record keeping of products.
As the Warehouse Assistant, you will:
1. Ensure that all Purchase Orders (POs) are receipted, and that orders are fulfilled and dispatched correctly, working to KPIs and SLAs to meet both internal and external customer expectations.
2. Ensure all documentation related to PO receipt and Sales Order fulfillment is filed correctly.
3. Act as the final checkpoint, ensuring all goods are dispatched via the most cost-effective routing while meeting client expectations and our in-full and on-time objectives.
4. Build strong internal relationships and ensure effective communication channels to achieve the above.
5. Maintain an effective and safe throughput of products within the warehouse, including space allocation, unloading, and loading of vehicles.
6. Cover for other warehouse team members during annual leave and sickness.
7. Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.
Qualifications and Experience | About You
The ideal Warehouse Assistant will:
1. Have experience working within a warehouse environment.
2. Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and attentive to detail.
3. Be able to communicate effectively and build relationships with internal and external clients.
4. Work well under pressure within a team and prioritize tasks accordingly.
5. Know when to escalate issues to management for timely resolution.
6. Have a flexible approach to working hours.
7. Enjoy working in a hands-on manual environment.
8. Possess a full clean UK driving license.
This role involves physical work in a warehouse setting with exposure to moderate noise levels. It requires standing, stooping, walking, sitting for long periods, and lifting objects up to 30 kilos.
* Undertaken Health and Safety training.
* Previous experience with international shipments and logistics.
