Job Description If you are looking to join a truly supportive forward thinking practice this one is for you This exciting opportunity is for a part-time (30 hours a week) vet, but because it’s important to us to find the right person to work alongside us, we’re happy to offer greater flexibility and a rota that can be planned around what works best for you whether that be 3 or 4 days a week This includes occasional Saturday and sole charge responsibilities. The practice has an excellent, close knit, team with experienced nurses in the practice as well as a very dedicated Clinical Lead who can help guide and support the right person. Our colleagues believe in a fear – free no -judgement zone where your ambitions will be encouraged with CPD and support with certificates can be discussed. The practice is also ideally situated being at the edge of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park and only 30 minutes’ drive from Cardiff City. You will be a key member of the team and ideally with a good general surgical and medical background however we are open to discussing opportunities with people at the beginning of their journey. A good work life balance is essential to our colleagues so to help with your day’s consults, we have blocked time off in your diary for you to catch up and maybe have a cup of tea. Merthyr Tydfil Vets4Pets is equipped with a digital X-ray, a dental X-ray machine to help raise the standard of dental treatments, an ultrasound machine and an inhouse lab.
