About the Role: As a Behaviour Mentor, you’ll play a pivotal role in motivating and encouraging students aged 7 to 16 to engage with their education and develop both academically and emotionally. You will be a key figure in helping them navigate challenges, build resilience, and gain confidence in their abilities. This is your chance to be a positive role model, working alongside a skilled team dedicated to empowering students who need it most.
What We’re Looking For: This school are seeking energetic, creative, and compassionate individuals who thrive on seeing young people succeed against the odds. The ideal candidates will have experience working with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour, with a real passion for making a meaningful impact in their lives.
Skills & Experience Needed:
• Previous experience with SEMH and challenging behaviour is highly desirable
• TeamTeach training is a plus, though not essential – your enthusiasm and commitment are what count
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• A deep commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• A passion for helping students unlock their full potential
