Experienced Social Worker
Team: Multi Agency Safeguarding (MASH) Team
Salary up to £45,441 per year
Hours: Permanent full-time, Monday to Friday with flexible working
About the Role
We are looking for experienced Social Workers who are passionate about providing a high-quality social work service to vulnerable children, young people and their families that positively promotes their welfare and life changes.
As an experienced Social Worker in MASH, you will gather information from partner agencies to complete MASH enquiries under the direction of a manager and make recommendations on the needs of children and their families, agreeing the most appropriate intervention to meet those identified needs.
Our Social Work Teams also hold many long-standing, incredibly knowledgeable and experienced social workers who are keen to share their expertise with others within our culture of continual shared learning and development.

* You will receive guaranteed supervision every 5 weeks to ensure you feel supported.

* 25 days annual leave rising to 30 days after 5 years of service, with the opportunity to buy up to 10 additional leave days per year.

* Training and coaching through our Children's Social Care Academy, in partnership with Bournemouth University.

About You
You will be a Professional Social Worker, holding a qualification and Social Work England registration, with significant post-qualifying experience.
You will be a solution-focused and capable worker, with a sound knowledge of current national and regional social work policies/practices, and relevant childcare legislation.
You will hold a driving licence and own your own vehicle, as this is an essential car user post due to the demands of the job.
You will also be committed to delivering a high-quality, transparent service and ensuring the wellbeing of children, young people, and their families.
