Job Introduction
Brighton and Hove City Council (BHCC) are recruiting a full time Deputy Manager to work at Glenwood Lodge Hostel.
Glenwood Lodge Hostel is a 48 bed Hostel for single homeless men in central Brighton, providing high support accommodation to 18 men with high, complex needs and Off Street Offer accommodation to 30 rough sleepers.
The Off Street Offer is grant funded under the Rough Sleepers Initiative Grant to provide accommodation, reconnection, and relocation for local and non-locally connected rough sleepers in the city. The service aims to assess, provide a single service offer of accommodation and move on to appropriate housing within a 90-day target.
The service will be going through a period of change and development, and this is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team and help shape and lead that change in the service.
You will work in partnership with BHCC’s Rough Sleepers Commissioning Team, Housing, Care and Support, as well as street outreach services, Arch Healthcare, substance misuse services, and a wider group of providers across the city.
For an informal discussion, please contact Lisa Ellery - Hostel Manager, Glenwood Lodge, 01273 294026 or Shelley Mahoney - Deputy Managers on 01273 294027.
