- £90K Benefits Remote First Organisation Overview: An exciting opportunity has emerged with a dynamic SaaS company in the life sciences sector for an experienced Salesforce Architect.
The role will be responsible for leading the architectural development and technical roadmap for the Salesforce environment ensuring secure and continuous deployment in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements, while supporting development teams with clear, efficient documentation.
Role & Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the architectural roadmap for the Salesforce platform to ensure it meets both current and evolving business needs.
Design and sustain a flexible, modular Salesforce architecture that enables the integration of multiple components, such as Mulesoft and Heroku.
Guide developers, configurators, and testers on the architectural framework and design of all platform components, covering areas like system integration and security, while adhering to Salesforce architecture principles and best practices.
Create streamlined, purpose-driven architectural documentation to guide development and ensure compliance with clinical trial regulatory requirements and guidelines.
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including Product Owners, Clinical Operations, and Information Security, to ensure that the architecture aligns with business needs and compliance standards.
Define and oversee the architecture for Salesforce integrations with third-party systems and services.
Promote continuous deployment and agility by architecting solutions that support safe, continuous deployment, incorporating DevOps practices like automation, feature flags, and agile release methods.
Essential Skills & Experience: Expertise in Salesforce Architecture with extensive experience in platform components such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, Apex, and Lightning; Salesforce Architect certifications are highly valued.
Demonstrated experience in making architectural decisions for large-scale solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term scalability.
Strong skills in designing integrations using Salesforce tools and other technologies, like Mulesoft and REST/SOAP APIs, to facilitate seamless data flow and process automation.
Cloud Platform Strategy: Practical experience designing solutions across Salesforce clouds and integrating with external systems.
Deep understanding of agile development environments and CI/CD processes, with a focus on architecting solutions that support DevOps practices and continuous deployment.
Package: Up to £90,000 basic salary Hybrid
