We are looking for a Field Care Supervisor to join our care management team. The role requires someone who can fully understand the needs and preferences of our customers and staff, making adjustments so as to continually improve the experiences of both. It will involve at least 30% care delivery, the remaining 70% either in the field or the office, according to requirements of our wonderful customers.
This person may be someone who has stood out as a care assistant and now wants to embark on a management journey OR someone with a track record in effective supervision and management who wishes to get back to being close to where it really counts. Our focus is on talent and potential, we will provide in-house training and mentoring where its needed.

The role offers you a 4 day working week (7am-5:30pm shift pattern), with alternate weekends included in your working pattern. You will also participate in the rota On-Call service.
The successful applicant will join a team of Supervisors, responsible for ensuring our service is outstanding in providing safe, reliable, compassionate care and support to meet the individual needs and wishes of each customer whilst coaching and mentoring your staff. You must be computer literate with good written English to succeed in this role.

Care Supervisor responsibilities will include:
* Operating as a “trouble-shooting” care assistant, covering sickness or helping to get new packages started (min 30%, occasionally more in emergencies).
* Routine supervision of staff (face-to-face meetings, spot checks, competency assessments, informal training, moral support, feeding up the chain as required).
* Acting as a role model for care staff.
* Advocating for customers and their families to ensure the best care
* Excellence in record keeping.
* Updating and reviewing care plans and risk assessments to the highest quality
As our Care Supervisor you will:
* Hold a full UK driving licence & have access to a reliable vehicle
* Have right to work in the UK
* Possess excellent communication skills, both speaking and writing fluent English
