What you will do:
1. Lead a team of Credit Controllers, ensuring they are demonstrating amazing behaviours and reaching team goals to support the overall team function.
2. Analyse stats to identify strength and gaps in ledger and team performance and present your findings to the Head of Operations.
3. Hold regular 121’s, conduct reviews with your team, and ensure development plans are in place for your team members.
4. Confidently liaise with internal stakeholders to support service delivery and risk management.
5. Continuously seek to enhance the customer experience through process reviews and colleague training and upskilling.
6. Look for efficiencies through process changes by identifying needs, planning, training, and delivery.
7. Assist in research for new technology which can help revolutionise methods of efficiency in all areas.

What you will need:
1. Previous leadership and Credit Control experience.
2. Strong understanding of Invoice Finance with specific Invoice Finance experience preferred.
3. Ability to drive change at both a tactical and strategic level.
4. Understanding of how to solve operational issues, i.e. who to contact and when to escalate.
5. Be a confident communicator at all levels with the ability to grow and develop stakeholder relationships.
6. Have amazing customer service skills as you will be interacting with our customers.
7. Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively drive performance and proactively improve colleague ESAT scores.
8. Have keen eye for detail with a proven ability to recognise trends and solve problems.
9. Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders.
