SEN Teaching Assistant

Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement
Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only
Unique School Solutions are supporting a school in the S26 area of Rotherham who are needing a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work in FS2. The job involves working 1:1 with a child with ASD who has suffered significant trauma. Your role will be to support the child throughout the day, including break times and lunchtime, as well as provide personal care support.

Essential requirements for the role:
- Previous experience working in a SEND school
- Experience working with 4-5 year olds within the last 2 years
- Personal care experience, and willingness to provide this support in this role
- A standard/good level of fitness due to the nature of the child's needs
- An empathetic, calm and patient nature
