PRS are working with one of the leading facilities management companies in the UK, responsible for providing services to hospitals, education facilities, and other contract catering sectors. They are currently looking for a full-time permanent chef de partie for their company offices in Stoke. This position offers a fantastic work/life balance with a Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm rota. Salary is £25,000 to £26,000.
You will be assisting the Head Chef in preparing boxed breakfast and lunch for around 30 to 40 members of staff. All dishes are fully planned out with spec sheets to follow, but you will be expected to have excellent presentation skills as well as the ability to think outside the box when required. You would also be expected to have good knowledge of food safety and hygiene paperwork requirements and cover these issues in the absence of the Head Chef.
To be considered for this role, you need to be an experienced chef with at least 2 years of experience and have an up-to-date Food Hygiene certificate, level 2 or above.
