Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
1. To work autonomously as part of a team delivering Rehabilitation to individuals in their own homes/ward/clinic within competencies.
2. To screen/assess patients and carry own caseload in process under pathways supervised by Physiotherapist.
3. To initiate and implement treatment programmes according to protocols and pathways set up by Physiotherapist, monitoring patient progress within scope of practice.
4. Work without direct supervision, reporting back patient progress and informing the Physiotherapist of any possible deviations from protocols/pathway.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
1. SVQ 3, HNC or equivalent experience.
2. Extensive experience working with people in a health/social care setting.
3. Ability to recognise indicators of rehabilitation needs.
4. Digital literacy.
5. Ability to work closely with people in various settings with various physical or mental health issues.

Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
