Electrical / Electronic Engineering Instructor
Location: Gloucestershire (Commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester, Stroud, Cirencester)
Salary: £36,000 - £39,500 DOE (+ Pension, Funded Training, 45 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Progression & Benefits)

A client of mine is currently offering a fantastic opportunity at the UK's leading technical training centre for a dedicated Electrical / Electronic Engineering Instructor to share their knowledge and expertise at an exceptional Engineering Training Provider in the Gloucestershire area.
They have exceptional engineering facilities and a leading reputation in providing high-quality education to full-time students and apprentices. Teaching experience is desirable, but not required, as they are happy to provide full training and support for suitable candidates straight from industry or university. This is a full-time, permanent role, with a flexible start date.
Job Description
1. Teach BTEC and T-Level Electrical / Electronic Engineering
2. Deliver engaging and interactive lessons, both theoretical and practical
3. Assess and provide feedback on student progress
4. Create and update course materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness
5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of a diverse group of learners
2. Provide support and guidance to apprentices throughout their training journey
3. Assess and evaluate student work to ensure they meet the required standards
4. Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
5. Collaborate with industry professionals to enhance the apprenticeship program
Required Skills and Experience
1. Hold a relevant qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
2. Have substantial industry experience in a related field
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Excellent knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
5. Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
