Interim Faculty Management Accountant | Grade 7 | Leeds | Education Role | Full-time | HybridAt Hays, we are working exclusively with a further/higher education institution who are looking for a Faculty Management Accountant to join their finance team on an interim basis for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for this to be extended. In this role, your key areas of focus will be:
* Manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping
* Address and resolve complex financial queries, excluding account-specific issues
* Collaborate with internal departments and the wider finance function to ensure compliance and smooth operations
* Present financial information to key stakeholders in an accessible manner
* Participate in planning processes and analysing staffing budgets to support decision-making
* Confidently manage stakeholder expectations and provide reliable financial advice
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. CIMA/ACCA qualifications or equivalent, or QBE
2. Proven experience in Management Accounting
3. Prior experience in further/ higher education desirable
4. Knowledge of financial systems and software (prior experience of using SAP desirable)
5. Strong use of Excel
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
