Salary Range: From £40,000 per year depending on experience
Duties Include:
1. Coach, develop and support your team to deliver excellent results.
2. Champion Sofina Company values (Integrity, Respect & Accountability), promoting a positive workplace culture.
3. Drive & lead the CI agenda in your area, challenging all processes.
4. Utilize department KPIs to prioritize production and packing schedules to deliver production goals, identifying and driving opportunities for continuous improvement.
5. Act as a professional and trusted advisor to the Head of Operations and site Management team on all production and packing/distribution matters relating to the Livingston site.
6. Any other reasonable request.
7. Own the Production & Packing crew guide for your area, ensuring the delivery of required numbers, managing absence and holiday cover within your area in line with company policies & ways of working.
8. Liaise with HR & L&D Departments to ensure a robust talent, training and development process is embedded for the Production team on site, including the onboarding of new colleagues.
9. Manage employee relations across your area including absence, conduct and performance, working closely with the HR department in line with Sofina people policies.
10. Ensure the food safety, legality, and quality of finished products in your area, continually challenging and improving systems, processes, people, structure, and machinery.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. NEBOSH Certificate qualified (desirable).
2. Level 3 Food Hygiene (or equivalent).
3. HACCP Level 3 (or equivalent).
4. Extensive experience of production & packing leadership; with exposure to FMCG environments, BRC audit standards and being 'audit ready.'
5. Experience working in a chilled fish factory (desirable).
6. A working understanding of Microsoft Office.
