Position: Member Development Officer
Location: Midlands (Hybrid Role)
Duration: 12 months+
Rate: Up to £25 per hour (Umbrella) – although some flexibility on this for the right candidate
Office Attendance: Minimum 2 days per week
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Council Member Support Officer to join a Midlands-based Council on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This hybrid role requires two days per week in the office but offers flexibility for hybrid working around this.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver a comprehensive training programme for Council Members, including strategic planning and implementation.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training meets the needs of the organisation.
3. Assist with HR and legal matters as they pertain to the support and training of members.
Skills and Experience:
4. Experience in creating and delivering training strategies.
5. Preferable background in HR and legal support.
6. Strong organisational and communication skills.
