What you'll do: You will be responsible for all aspects of running the home and provide an innovative, active, and progressive care service, utilising best practice guidelines, while ensuring residents safety and welfare is of paramount importance at all times. You will manage the Home in accordance with policies and legislative requirements to agreed budgets and provide a caring environment that meets the individual needs of residents. You will head up a large team of staff and take responsibility for the wellbeing of all residents, the quality of the service and financial performance of the home. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the home remains fully compliant and provides the best quality care. You will be marketing the home to self funding residents. What you'll bring: Strong, supportive and clear leadership skills, team working skills and staff management experience. You will be a current Registered Home Manager in an the elderly nursing home sector. You will have good, proven networking and interpersonal skills and good experience of marketing a home and of filling beds. Experience of the self-funded market is essential. A good understanding and experience of CQC and CHC standards is required. An assertive, energetic, motivated and positive approach along with exceptional organisation skills are key. Nursing qualification is ideal but not essential.
