This is a unique opportunity to work in a school that is working hard to ensure that all our children leave our school to be the very best they can be. Our SEND provision is rapidly evolving; with a team of trained and enthusiastic professionals based in the school, parents who are supportive and children who want the best for themselves. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENDCO at our other trust schools in Fenland. Pay Scale £31,650.00 - £49,084.00 Annually (FTE) Skills we are looking for:- QTS Status. National Award for SEN Co-ordination or NPQ for SENDCo (working towards). Degree. Relevant training and whole primary experience. Sound knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice. An understanding of what makes "quality first" teaching, and of effective intervention strategies. To be confident in supporting staff in using the Cambridgeshire OAP Toolkit and ensuring high quality universal provision. Ability to plan and evaluate interventions. Data analysis skills and the ability to use data to inform targeted provision and planning. Involvement in self-evaluation and development planning. High level of written and verbal skills.
