As a Senior Manager (Risk and Assurance) you will have a significant impact across the organisation, helping to drive performance, build organisational resilience and support long-term sustainability. You’ll work collaboratively across us, partnering with senior leaders to drive a risk-aware culture. Major objectives To embed our risk framework and to manage appropriate internal controls and assurance frameworks within us to control risk and realise opportunities. Risk management: Ensure that key strategic and corporate risks are appropriately identified, assessed, managed and mitigated. Embed a risk aware culture that drives organisational performance and sustainability. Assurance Deliver effective assurance testing and provide oversight of our outsourced internal audit service What are we looking for? Knowledge of current and developing legislation, regulations, and best practice, relating to risk and internal audit Operational and technical risk knowledge Knowledge of risk management frameworks, modelling, methodologies and processes Knowledge of internal assurance and control practices Internal audit best practices Ability to communicate, influence and build strong relationships with key senior stakeholders to promote a risk-aware culture Ability to communicate complex information to non-technical audiences, with appropriate reporting methods Strong critical thinking, analytical, quantitative and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a strategic mindset Ability to horizon scan and anticipate future trends and opportunities Experience in risk management, compliance, assurance, audit or governance roles is essential What are the benefits?
