Base pay range
Our client is a thriving Womenswear mid-market brand. They have a strong brand ethos and identity, and they are on a strong growth trajectory with great success over recent years.
They are looking for additional support in their team on an interim 6m Fixed Term Contract starting at the end of Feb. This would either be someone at Junior Merch or Merchandiser level. They are also open to talk to talented Merch Managers too.
The role would manage the stock across E-commerce, Retail and Wholesale. This role will be critical in forecasting and managing stock levels, markdowns, and option planning to ensure continued growth and to drive profit, whilst being commercial and innovative.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Analysing, planning and forecasting, looking at sales performance, optimising on key performers and putting forth action plans to minimise risk on worst sellers, highlighting any potential issues.
* Trading analysis across all channels to ensure KPI’s are achieved.
* Upkeep and maintenance of the WSSI.
* Closely managing the OTB working closely with the buying and sales teams on product promotions.
* Liaising with the Buying Team to help create profitable ranges, and report figures to the team on a weekly basis, controlling profit and maximising margins.
* Be able to build and maintain strong working relationships across other business functions including Buying, Sales, Logistics and Finance.
Our client is looking for someone who:
* A strong background and experience of working within a Fashion / Retail business within merchandising.
* Exceptional planning and analytical skills, coupled with the drive to exceed expectations and be a natural strategic thinker.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
* Excellent communication skills, being able to effectively communicate across the business.
* You will have a diligent and well organised work ethic, be a self-starter and motivated as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
* Have a hand on and flexible approach to your work and the business, be a key team player and adapt as required within a dynamic environment.
* Have a positive “can-do” attitude, be decisive with a strong commercial awareness.
Salary shown is an indicator and would be dependant on your level and experience.
Please note this role is based 4 days on site in their offices based in London, Zone 1, with 1 day a week WFH.
