JOB TITLE: Mobile Reactive HVAC Engineer
LOCATIONS: TFL sites
SHIFT PATTERN: Day Shift – 06:00 – 18:00 (4 on 4 off rotation)
SALARY: £51,410
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
To deliver HVAC mechanical reactive services across the Transport for London contract.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure that fault assignments are attended, diagnosed and repaired in line with agreed contractual SLA.
2. Ensure that suitable spares are available to complete allocated tasks.
3. Ensure that all relevant site documentation is held and maintained.
4. Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are always prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.
5. Develop a good working relationship with all members of staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
6. Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, including the wearing of uniform and PPE at all times.
7. Keep up-to-date plant logs.
8. Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of the organization are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
9. Undertake lone working when and where required, subject to passing satisfactory training.
10. Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate.
11. Maintain awareness and compliance with the contractual KPI's/SLA's.
12. Keep the CAFM system up to date and ensure Reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
13. Perform any other tasks as directed by the account management team.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
1. To hold an NVQ/City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration.
2. To hold a CAT 1 F Gas qualification.
3. To hold a Full UK Driving License.
4. Must have the balanced ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances.
5. Good experience in reactive works and a track record in working in Facilities Management.
