The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with under-achieving pupils in Key Stage 2, providing tailored 1:1 support to help them progress academically. You will assist with core subjects, reinforce key concepts, and adapt learning strategies to meet individual needs. Working alongside class teachers, you will play a vital role in boosting confidence and improving attainment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in an educational setting.
The Candidate
This role is ideal for a graduate considering a future in teaching. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and patient individual with strong communication skills and a passion for supporting children’s learning. Previous experience working with young learners, whether through tutoring, mentoring, or classroom support, is beneficial but not essential. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn are key.
