Senior Design Manager- Environment
What you will be doing:
The Senior Design Manager will be an important member of their Regional, Framework or Joint Venture Leadership Team and work closely with the Regional Operations Director to ensure the successful delivery of Engineering.
This will require the development of a strong interface with the regional operations team, Client, external Design Consultants and the Design Delivery Managers who will provide our internal design service if required.
You will be accountable for the regions Service Level Agreement, Deliverables and overall Design Brief ensuring that adequate sign resources, systems, processes, and controls are in place at all times to deliver measurable programme and project level success.
About You:
1. Civil or PMEICA Engineering background (ideally with a good understanding of all engineering disciplines associated to the design and delivery of projects)
2. Design and/or Project Management experience ideally in Water industry ·
3. Degree in Engineering (MEng, MSc, BEng, Bsc..) preferred or relevant Construction, Manufacturing, Project Management or STEM related qualification. · Significant experience in planning, progress measurement and change management of engineering activities on all project phases from front end design through to construction, commissioning and Takeover.
4. Experience in implementing Digital Technologies and/or Advanced Applications within construction projects
5. Good IT skills including software skills in MS Excel & Word
