Are you ready for a new exciting opportunity? We are seeking a Change Manager to oversee a wide range of regulatory and strategic change initiatives, working closely with the Head of UK Change, who will be responsible for managing the enablement and coordination of change for AIB UK. The role holder will have the opportunity to make a real difference to how we operate our business, building strong networks across the enterprise by working closely with our group colleagues in RoI.
What is the Role:
AIB’s UK Change team supports the enablement, deployment and governance of regulatory and strategic change across the UK. The team work in partnership with business owners across the UK and work closely with group colleagues to help deliver key regulatory and strategic changes in support of AIB UK’s business strategy.
Key accountabilities;
* Proactively manage organisational stakeholders through the implementation and maintenance of a UK change roadmap and role model cross functional collaboration between these stakeholders to maintain engagement.
* Develop monthly reporting and insightful commentary for all UK impacting change initiatives accurately reflecting the status of project deliverables for presentation to the UK senior management team and Board.
* Ensure suitable governance is in place for all group projects with a UK impact and ensure the business is fully and effectively engaged with projects.
* Coordinate and manage the quarterly Agile cycle for the UK to ensure technology driven change is prioritised and aligned to ExCo priorities and strategic objectives. Provide an overview of tribe performance and delivery in the previous quarter for the UK senior management team and Board.
* Manage and deliver change to a range of UK Credit Risk Systems e.g., AMU, NAPS, CACS, AMD, CGS while also ensuring capacity to support group wide credit related initiatives.
* Drive business change services within UK change to support the deployment of enterprise-wide capability and associated impacts/risks.
* In conjunction with the group investment plan process, work with senior colleagues across AIB UK in the development of potential initiatives and identify overlaps/alignment with the wider bank strategy.
* Proactive engagement with Group Change Operations to fully deliver on the agreed Service Level Agreement and ensure service levels are being met at all times.
* Maintain relevant Service Levels Agreements and ensure all standards associated with outsourced services are met.
* Embed best practice and simplification, where possible.
* Ensure effective management and adherence of risk and controls across UK Change.
* Lead and develop a small team of motivated, cohesive, and collaborative PMO specialists whilst role modelling AIB’s brand values.
* Promote and role model a high-performing culture by setting clear, stretching goals, and providing ongoing feedback.
What you Will Bring;
* Relevant experience in the management and deployment of change, ideally in a financial services environment.
* Strong influencing and decision-making skills are imperative, as collaborating with leaders in cross functional areas (including Group) is a key focus of the role.
* High awareness of the importance of data and an ability to interrogate and analyse same.
* Understand all facets and drivers of change methodology and frameworks.
* An ability to make decisions with recognition of short and long-term implications.
* Experience in leading a team in the achievement of challenging goals.
* Ability to influence at all levels up to senior management.
* A leader who is consistent with what they say and do, creating trust and confidence with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Change Management and / or Lean qualifications desirable.
