Main duties of the job
Able to contribute to the provision of a full and comprehensive primary care service to patients of Riverside, responding to medical problems presented bypatients
Able to provide appropriatepreventative health care and advice.
Participate in clinical governanceactivity and contributing to the improvement in quality of health outcomesthrough the practices audit programme.
Clinically relatedadministrative and non-clinical duties as necessary
Engage in appropriate educational activityin order to maintain clinical competence and performance, including thecompletion of objectives agreed by yourself and the practice in an annualPersonal Development Plan.
Participating in the training anddevelopment of nurses, GP registrars in the practice, whenappropriate.

Qualifications
* A medical practitioner whose name is included in the
* General Practitioner Register under article 10 of the
* General and Specialist Medical Practice Order 2003.
* Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical
* Act 1983./
* Qualified General Practitioner (completed certificate of
* Completion of Training CCT)
* Currently on a PCT performers list and not suspended from
* that list or from the medical register
* DBS clearance
* Have had an annual NHS appraisa
* Evidence of further postgraduate educational
* activities in relevant fields
* MRCGP
* DCH
* DRCOG
* Evidence of CPD activities
Experience
* Evidence of independent working in General Practice
* Commitment to and experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary and skill mixed team environment
* Experience of working to achieve standards within the Quality
* and Outcome Framework (QOF)
* Recent experience of working in general practice in the UK.
* Experience of supporting service change
* Evidence of participation in QOF
* Evidence of participation in Audit
