Twyver, a specialist Switchgear and Critical Power Solutions provider with over 80 years of experience and part of the Vinci Energies Group (€13 billion), is looking to recruit a Test Engineer. The role involves testing and documenting a range of LV Switchgear panels and components, hosting factory acceptance tests with clients, diagnosing panel issues, and assisting with engineering, commissioning, and building of panels.

The Role
* Produce detailed documentation related to panel testing.
* Use test equipment such as dielectric testers, multimeters, IR testers, etc.
* Maintain safe working practices and adhere to quality control and safety procedures.
* Travel to sites to diagnose and resolve panel issues.
* Build good customer relationships and confidently demonstrate testing procedures in the presence of end customers.
* Read and interpret electrical drawings and instructions accurately to assemble components and build/wire panels within specified timescales.
* Conduct testing and inspections on finished Switchgear panels both on the shop floor and at customer sites, in line with standards and customer requirements.
* Ensure safety practices are always followed.
* Send panels to site with confidence in their compliance and functionality.
* Perform and host Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) with end customers.
* Contribute to the improvement of quality control processes and test procedures through feedback.
* Travel to customer sites to support installation as needed.
* Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external clients.
The Person
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or have extensive experience in the LV Switchgear industry.
* Experience in LV Switchgear testing is preferred.
* Be a qualified Electrician with a current ECS card.
* Possess a valid Driving Licence.
* Demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent attention to detail.
* Have strong organizational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
* Be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
* Possess strong problem-solving skills.
* Have excellent communication skills, able to communicate at all levels.
* Be willing to work extended and/or unsocial hours as required by the role.
