Join us as a UX Design Apprentice and embark on an exciting journey where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our dynamic organisation.
As a UX Design Apprentice, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside our experienced UX designers and researchers, gaining hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of user-centred product and service design.
A day in the life can involve:
1. Assisting and conducting user research to capture, interpret and articulate digital product or service requirements
2. Advocating the user perspective throughout the product development process
3. Supporting the communication of UX insights, ideas, and results to stakeholders
4. Engaging in continuous learning to stay up to date with the latest UX methodologies and trends
As a UX Design Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to apply your versatile skillset to create exceptional user experiences. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who are curious and adaptable individuals who can think critically to uncover user needs and devise innovative solutions. Strong collaboration and communication skills are a must, as you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to advocate for the user perspective throughout the design process. Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to data analysis will enable you to make informed, user-centered decisions. Underpinning it all is a passion for continuous learning – we want apprentices who are eager to stay on the pulse of the latest UX trends and methodologies.
For the apprenticeship programme, we prioritise applicants eligible for government funding for their apprenticeship and for this you need to:

6. Have at least 5 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above including Maths and English.
7. Have 3 A levels or equivalent qualifications at grade C or above, including one in a STEM subject.
PLEASE NOTE: This position is a 42-month fixed-term contract.
