About the opportunity We are seeking Building Surveyors to join our team. We work on unique and exciting projects and can offer a stable platform upon which your career can develop. You will be working on the full range of Surveying services with a particular focus on TDD and project work and you'll be keen to know that 90% of our revenue is from repeat business. Our clients across many sectors including transport infrastructure, commercial, the public sector, healthcare, education, industrial, residential and mixed-use developments. Our wide-ranging Building Surveying services are client and project specific and as a truly multidisciplinary consultancy, you will work alongside experts in many different specialist areas. This role is based on a Hybrid basis from our London Bridge office requiring 2 or 3 days per week office or site-based presence Full time work with Jacobs is at 40 hours per week Some regional and UK wide travel is required with this role To be Chartered _ MRICS / MCIOB accreditation Private practice or / consultancy experience with knowledge of relevant legislation such as health and safety, party wall, building regulations / planning and the Building Safety Act Experience in Surveying the condition of existing buildings, identifying and analysing defects including proposals for repair _ inspecting and providing advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of all types of buildings and sites Other key skills in areas such as party wall agreements, report writing, tender / bid processes, producing specifications for project works, contract administration etc The ability to secure SC level clearance would be advantageous Our culture Our values stand on a foundation of safety, integrity, inclusion and diversity.
