This role is based at Amersham Health Centre. The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Mental Health qualification or equivalent qualification OR hold a Low intensity qualification including EEB,CWP,EMHP with maintenance of required professional registration You will also be a qualified LI-CBT Supervisor or willing to undertake the LI-CBT Supervisor training. You will directly line manage and lead Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) Supervisors, and Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioners as well as qualified EMHP's. The role will include a mix of service development, line management, liaison and linking with the University of Reading alongside taking a clinical caseload once settled within the role. In line with the government’s priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the new expansion to the west is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors in England. Successful candidates would join an established MHST service as we expand. To work autonomously as either a Mental Health Practitioner or LI CBT Therapist taking a small caseload. You will be responsible for supporting the Operational Lead in expansion of the service and deputising as appropriate. Line manage and clinically supervise trainee EMHP's, qualified EMHP's and EMHP supervisors. Responsible for ensuring members of the team have essential skills required to provide evidence based psychological assessment and interventions.
