A Typical Day in the Job: Provide 1st Line Technical Support to business sector customers. Ensure continuity, efficiency, and enhancement of ICT Networks. Maintain client network environments. Conduct upgrades for new projects, installing new switches and routers. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Salary, Hours & Benefits: £24,000 per annum. Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm. 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Company pension scheme. Free onsite parking. Bonus scheme if objectives are met. Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge: Microsoft certification (highly beneficial). Strong knowledge of Client Windows OS platforms; some knowledge of Server OS. Excellent problem-solving skills. Experience with Active Directory (setting up profiles and adding users). Good understanding of virtualisation concepts. Good understanding of networking stack, TCP/IP, and subnetting. Comfortable with a range of backup products. Knowledge of mobile devices (iOS, Android) and their integration with Windows networks. Experience with Office 365 (beneficial). Experience with antivirus software. Strong customer service skills.
