About the Roles: You will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored education to students aged 11-16, who are working at lower GCSE levels or Functional Skills qualifications. Each role involves supporting pupils with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and other learning difficulties. Responsibilities: • Delivering engaging and adaptive lessons in your subject area (Maths, English, Science, or General Teaching) to meet the diverse needs of SEN students. • Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to ensure each student receives the appropriate support and challenge. • Working collaboratively with a dedicated team of SEN professionals, including teaching assistants, SENCOs, and therapists, to provide comprehensive support. • Monitoring and assessing student progress, keeping accurate records, and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly. • Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, where students feel supported and motivated to achieve their potential. Key Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the relevant subject area. • Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with ASC, SEMH, and other complex needs. • A compassionate and flexible teaching approach, with a strong commitment to supporting the educational and emotional development of all pupils. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
