An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Benefits Technology team as a Service Manager (Application Delivery) based in Darlington (hybrid working), for a fixed term contract of 18 months. The role The Service Manager will be responsible for the quality of service delivered by the third party supplier Delivery team, closely overseeing the service to ensure that the end to end release management process is adhered to, KPIs are met and releases are planned and implemented effectively. This will include acting on the analysis of incident and problem data to identify service impacting issues, identifying and championing the implementation of improvement initiatives and being a management escalation point. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. The person The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role previously and ideally worked alongside off-shore teams. Previous experience of working with a pensions administration system would be desirable for this role. The ideal candidate will require strong communication and relationship building skills with both on-site and off-shore personnel, as well as good organisational skills, an attention to detail and the ability to produce reports and analyse data to identity improvement opportunities.
