Summary of the role
Responsible for analysing, defining and shaping strategic outcomes to deliver change across the business which maximizes business benefit and architectural reusability. The role includes leadership and performance management of a team of analysts.
This role can be based in Peterborough or Bristol.

What you'll be doing
* Collaborate with business, IT, and strategic partners on large or complex projects to identify, understand, challenge, and agree on requirements. Use various analytical tools and techniques, such as process mapping, requirements engineering and gap analysis
* Contribute to the creation of innovative business solutions that meet strategic, tactical, and operational needs, often impacting multiple business units across clients.
* Interpret legislative and regulatory changes, assess their broader impact on business procedures, and design business solutions to ensure compliance within externally-driven timeframes.
* Oversee the performance management of Business Analysts, supporting their development and training needs.
* Mentor and coach others (not just analysts), identify opportunities for continuous learning, actively promote knowledge sharing, and be familiar with all internal knowledge repositories. Direct, seek, and share knowledge sources.
* Prepare and lead meetings, facilitate workshops, and deliver presentations to a wide range of audiences, ensuring high-quality communication to reach business consensus.
* Support business acceptance testing activities, ensuring that Testing Strategies/Plans are fit for purpose and providing a central escalation point for any queries and issues from the Testing Team.
What we're looking for
* Strong experience of Business Analysis and proven experience working across multiple, complex projects or programmes
* A solid understanding of the financial services industry (L&P desirable)
* Has coached/mentored more junior Business Analyst's
* Someone who comes from a client facing background, and has developed good stakeholder management skills
