Part-Time 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Exmouth Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant Location: Exmouth, Devon Salary: £90.32 - £95 per day Hours: Part-time Job Description: Long Term Teachers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Exmouth. This part-time role involves providing individual support to a child with additional needs, helping them to thrive in a mainstream classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored support to the assigned pupil, both in and out of the classroom. Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individualized learning plans. Assist in managing challenging behaviour in a positive and effective manner. Foster a supportive and nurturing environment to promote the child's social and emotional development. Requirements: Previous experience working with children is essential, as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is preferable but not essential. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to the child’s educational progress. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents. Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3) are desirable but not essential. What We Offer: Competitive daily rates between £90.32 and £95.
