What you’ll be doing: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Performing accounting transaction and backup recording and reconciliations, ensuring adherence to Corporate Policies and SOX compliance. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Performing variance analysis. Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies. Supporting month-end and year-end close processes on SAP and other systems. Assisting with preparation of external reporting documents e.g. VAT returns, National Statistic submissions. Assisting with liaison with external auditors and financial service providers. Assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation and explanations. Maintaining accurate, complete and organized financial records. Supporting on going improvement projects as required About you: At least 2 years’ experience in accounting, working towards a professional qualification (i.e. CIMA/ACCA) or AAT qualified. Highly Proficient in accounting software, such as Sage 200, SAP, Prophix. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Highly Proficient with MS Excel Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy essential. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to learn and adapt to the use of different accounting software and to work collaboratively in a fast paced multi-cultural environment.
